Have been at Comfort Inn as a desk agent for the last 14 months. There is no room for advancement at this comfort Inn.
In march I will be done with a business management certification as a business support specialist. I currently get paid at 9.25 an hour in maryland and I’m sure I could get paid more.
For advancement, getting paid more, and training opportunities, what should I do next?
secretary? admin assistant? receptionist? medical receptionist? walmart lol? administrative services assistant? office manager? I have skills in powerpoint, excel, word, college courses, and there is minimal
and routine office /clerical work at this hotel. also i manage the desk alone so I am trusted. Prior to this as you can see my experience was retail and sales and customer service. I am trying to become more professional and choose better opportunites.. but I dont know what the best ones for me would be…
Have you considered working in sales in a major hotel?
