What is the best over the counter acne treatment?

I need an acne treatment that I can get at walmart or a drug store. I don’t need a facewash. Just "spot treatment" for acne that I can put right on the pimple. What have you used? What works best? Any skincare tips?

I’ve been using Proactive for a while now and it works really great. It works very fast, within a day or so. I haven’t had a breakout in a while. I’ve tried all sorts of different acne medication and pills and none of those worked for me. Now I just need to figure out how to gert rid of all these scars

You will really like Burt’s Bees Soap Bark and Chamomile cleanser, I’ve seen it at grocercy stores.

I was watching t.v. today,and there was a commercial for some anti-acne stuff,and there was this teen in the skincare aisle at a store,and it said he was looking for the perfect pimple cream,and a doctor came up and said it’s a medical thing,then said medical again to emphasize that the stuff they’re advertising is a doctor’s prescription.Can someone please tell me the name of the product they were advertising,because I would like to know what it is.Thanks!

How do I get glowing skin?

I just met a girl who is my age and her skin (no makeup) was absolutely glowing. I wanted to take a poll on suggestions for skincare (over the counter – drug store if possible). She looks always like she just got an expensive facial.

My skin is decent – clear, etc and I drink a lot of water, but it doesn’t look dewy like hers did.

Any suggestions?

exfoliate! use a scrub like st.ives to remove any dead skin that’s clogging your pores. then use an anti oil cleanser like biore to remove any oil that might be dulling your skin. then apply a good moisturizer with spf in it(like neutregena or olay, if you have dry skin try something heavier). then use a tinted moisturizer for dewy skin, then try a cream blush or bronzer. yay luminous skin.

I have ordered my first full set from the company website in the UK. the products are all botanical-based and feel wonderul on my skin. I have tried sooo many skin care products and this tops my list, but I can’t find retail store that sells it here.

I am 24, I often get a few pimples around my chin and nose area that cause redness… I have lightly oily skin but definately not extreme, otherwise its pretty balanced… I am looking for skincare that you buy in department stores, like Lancome, etc. etc. Nothing typical found at walmart or target…. do any of you use anything a little more expensive than the regular 7 dollar drug store cleansers that works very well for you?

Honestly, I have used proactiv and Clinique, (The Clinique acne wash works great. It’s a foam) but I have found that St. Ives Apricot scrub works the best b/c it has oatmeal in it. It is made for acne. I am about the same age with the same issues.

I still have the receipts and the little sticker thing. I mean like to department stores like Macys or Nordstrom.
How can you know if something works for you or if you like it if you never use it? I honestly don’t it.

That will of course depend on the return policies at the store in which you bought them. If you are having adverse reactions to the products most places will give you a refund.
