Has anyone else ever noticed that natural skincare products…?

Always seem to work the best? I mean, I do use some unnatural products on my face but not very much and the natural products just seem to do the job very well. Who else noticed this?

I agree, natural ingredients are more gentle and work well with our skin. Although most skin care products that contain natural/anti-oxidants are more expensive, they’re definitely worth the price. If a product is too chemical based, there’s never a guarantee that our skin will work well with it, and it has a greater chance of affecting our skin in negative ways. This is why I prefer to do home made facial masks out of the ingredients that can come naturally from my refrigerator than from a lab.

  2. No not always – sometimes natural products do absolutely nothing – there are some artificial substances that are good for the skin like collagen and elastin which are added to skincare

its not FDA approved. But I do like Ole Henriksen. still…I tend to trust unnatural products more since I dont feel safe with natural products. right now…the top of the line products aren’t natural products. maybe as the years pass, natural will be seen as the way to go. at this point in time…if you’re skin problems aren’t that bad, you should go natural. I know that when I had severe cystic ace, natural would do nothing for me. With natural being relatively a minority product in the consumer industry, it will take some time before we can actually see which natural products actually do soemthing for our skin. Most natural products are based on myths that have been believed for thousands of year such as how Fresh uses white clay since the Egyptians used white clay thousands of years ago. As we slowly study natural ingredients, some of these ancient theories have been disproved. We found out that chocolate isn’t actually bad for our skin but contains a valuable antioxidant. If we disprove that, chances are there are ingredients that have been said to do good for your skin but actually do more mad. Lemon, for example, poses the risk of making you more sensitive to the sun. With new plants being discovered daily, companies have been quick to use them even though much about those plants is generally unknown. So if you have a more severe problem you want to solve, I encourage you to look for products more clinical in nature. Still…I hope to see that one day, the natural ingredients will actually be more closely studied. Who knows? Maybe they are better for our skin. Its so easy to blame clinical formulas as being bad for our skin since we assume that chemicals are evil things. Like the other answerer said, some chemicals are good for our skin. Do not be quick to stereotype clinical products as they may have the chemicals to save your life. And who knows…maybe the fountain of youth isn’t found in nature, but in chemicals. Its possible chemicals are the answer to our anti-aging problems.

  4. I Use a mixture of half vinegar, half water to clean my face. Then I rinse with vinegar diluted with water. Then I let my face air dry to seal in the moisture.

This is working great on my face!
