Major hotels appreciate their people with people-oriented skills and there is room for advancement, plus benefits like educational reinbursement. Stop wasting your time at little hotels and simple simon stores. Think of the hotels in Las Vegas, and you running a department in one of them. If I am correct, this is a time in your life where you need to ask yourself, Where do I want to be in 10 years? Believe me 10 years will fly by in a heartbeat and If your haven't determined a solid course for your life then in ten years you will more or less be in a similar situation that you are in now, but 10 years older, and that does not look good on any resume. As far as a business management "Certificate", thats about as useless as the paper it's written on. In todays economy, even an Associates Degree in Business will only get you a shift manager position at McDonald's. The word for today is "specialization". Set yourself apart from the pack.
