bought lancome spot corrector from fragrancenet.com. Box is crushed and tube is not sealed. fake? way to tell?

on fragrancenet.com website, it says skincare can’t be returned. but the package (the plastic skin) is kind of loose, box is a little crushed. The tube is not sealed. (Can anyone remind me whether lancome’s skincare product is usually sealed or not?) How can I tell if it is fake product? It really drive me crazy to suspect it might be fake. Any advice? (lesson I have learned is I will never buy skin care from website) but what can I do this time? dealing with customer service of fragracenet.com will not be a pleasant experience, I have already learned from other buyers. Should I just throw it away and take the loss? or JUST tell me that lancome’s tube is usually not sealed. THANKS ALOT!!!!

I don’t believe Lancome products are sealed.

To be safe…simply go to a shop in your city and ask the question.

Until you do that…don’t use the product.

  1. I usually avoid websites that have a bad customer report rating. I have a feeling that your product is fine if it’s not an international shipment. Much of the disappointment from customers probably come from the fact that the product arrives in a fashion such as yours. I would probably say that your worries are normal but I think the product itself is fine.
